Your growing area is almost like something out of a fairy tale, with all those butterflies and the plants in bloom. Great job.

I am in love with this posting! Especially the monarch, that is beyond cool. Good photography! I am also glad you posted bc I have a vanda Trevor rathbone that I've had for a while, growing in media, that has yet to bloom for me. Do you have any tips on vanda growing? I know high light, heavy feeders, but that's about it. Thanks!! -Becky

Vandas are considered sun worshipper, they love the heat of Miami, now that summer is almost here and our temperature is well over 90F/30C degrees I water them 2 times a day, I have a sprinkler system that mist in different times during the day. I also add spanish moss to their roots to help with the humidity.

Beautiful orchid and great pictures! I wouldn't be suprised if you picked that up at R.F. Orchids since I believe they made that cross. They have some great vandas down there. What camera are you using?
