i need help in calanthe culture....

hi from italy.....
i've bought a calanthe rosea at the end of the last summer.
she had three leaves, regularly she lost her leaves one after the other in autumn time....
now in my country the temperature it's starting to arise together with the light-time in the day....
my question is: which is the time for starting to water her??
how can i recognise the necessity of the calanthe to begin a new vegetative period??

Assuming you grew it well enough to having it store sufficient resources, it will show the emergence of new growth with no intervention from you. THEN start watering and feeding normally.
