I think for it to do well you need to get it completely dry for about a two weeks in the beginning of winter! And again at the end of the growing spike! I love this plant! It does better if you forget to water it!

I've noticed the same with mine, it thrives on moderate neglect. No blooms on it, it's still a little plant! So it's nice to be able to enjoy photos of your blooms.
