Have a few of them as well, mine has not bloomed so not much to compare to, but the bloom looks like a bug with goggles.

Some are saying it's a Anoectochilus koshunensis the foliage is not mentioned other than being to dark. A Macodes petola has shiny gold veins does the Ano as well? Curious about this one until mine blooms.

I have one in a common growing area. They grow pretty well, but not as fast as the Ludisia, at least for me.

The conditions are the ones already recently said in this forum.

if you do desire one, go for it.

Yes, the pattern of the leaves and the flower with a lip so fringed seems to say that. But jewel orchids are not my area, although I like them very much.

What I usually see is Anoectochilus formosanum. It seems like yours, but as it is you who have the plant, you have to examine it more deeply

Perhaps someone with more knowledge can help more.

Thanks , the blooms in the photo are exactly the same. I hadn't seen the other thread, now that I have I'm questioning whether or not the Ludisia discolor I have [from two different sources] is Ludisia or is Anoectochilus.
