OMG! My Phaius is spiking!

I moved some of my plants around to give my phaius a bit more light this morning. I had been very sad since I did not see any flower spikes developing yet and had resigned myself to needing to learn more about them. But lo and behold, when I turned it around what did I see! 4 to 5 inch spikes forming already!

YIPPEEE!!!!

Had to share my joy! Now for the hard part - patience until it blooms. It will be a long wait, lol...

I just discovered mine was spiking this afternoon. Yippeee. So far four but I expect at least one more.

My spikes are flowering!! It took a while, be patient. can't wait to see your pics, Paul.

Mine formed 8 spikes and is now in full, glorious bloom. I posted a picture under another thread about Phaius.
