Intermediate grower or cooler. Flower is very large for the size of the plant.

It should be a spring bloomer. My plant bloomed in June 2010 for the first time but it is going to bloom again next week.

Nice flowers. How big are they, you say big for the plant but how big is that?

1.5cm or 0.5" flower, the plant/growth is only 1.5". The little mount is about 1.5"X2"

Ooh, it is tiny, I see what you mean about the flower size, but still tiny.

Really nice one, thanks for your pics.

Are your small plants growing in a terrarium?

It is not often seen. I had been begging/looking for this species for years and I finally got a tiny division from a Brazillian grower about two years ago. If I'm only allowed to have 10 orchids, this will be one of them. I highly recommend this species if you like odd miniatures. The flowers are long lasting too.
