I don't know what to do with this keiki, it's sitting on top of a pseudobulb, and the roots have formed under the leaves... should I separate it without the bulb? I've never done one of these before, and the roots on the keiki are long, and I would love to have another one! Please let me know what you think...

It might be new growth, but I'm not sure if this hybrid produces keikis or not.

Sorry about the fuzziness... It was taken in a rush with my phone.

I think keikis are uncommon in this type of hybrid, but from the position you describe 'on top of a pseudobulb' I'm sure you could go ahead and separate it. New growth for the main plant will come from the base of the pseudobulb.

I thought it was uncommon, but I was hoping it was a keiki. We'll see, I took a picture of it on my phone so it's not very good. The roots run down past the pseudobulb into the moss and into the bark. And there are newer ones forming. Do you know much about this particular hybrid? I recieved it a little over a month ago, and it wasn't in bloom, all I know is that it needs more moisture than Phalaenopsis, and low to medium light. That's about it. I don't know when it blooms, and I would love to know.
