Though there also seems to be different schools of thought for the best care. Some people say leave it in the ground others dig them up during the Dormant period to check on the condition of the bulb and put them into storage.
I've decided to keep this one indoors in a clay pot. The idea being that you can then dig a hole in the lawn and take out the pot as a whole when the grass needs mowing. The weathers also been weird lately, so I'm not going to risk it outside just yet.
Also updated thread page two images, to give an idea of how small the bulb was/is (leaving it in the pot for now
). Been looking at some images of other (healthier) bulbs and thinking to myself that I'm just glad it survived
