I have 5 pods on my plants. They are nearly mature. I hope I can flask some and have some seed to spare. Looks like there will be a good amount of seed in the pods.

Those are stunning. Very well done. I had this species a number of years ago. But every time it went into its dormancy, I had the bad (although completely unintentional) habit of breaking pieces off of the pseudobulbs. They were jointed and seemed very prone to breaking (or maybe I was just incredibly clumsy). I finally gave up on the plant and traded it to a friend. Now, looking at your beautiful flowers, I'm almost tempted to go out and look for another one of these. Congratulations.

Steve - I almost mentioned those "double decker" pseudobulbs. I have had the same problem - the top part just seems to pop off with the slightest pressure.

I have a rosea and a sylvatica. Most of the p-bulbs on them are broken too, but the plants keep growing and blooming. I wouldn't worry about it.
