spathoglottis flower stem to cut or not cut. rebloom / reproduction? Male
Default spathoglottis flower stem to cut or not cut. rebloom / reproduction?

My Spathoglottis plicata has been blooming for a while. should I cut the stem when it is done? I am wondering if I could propagate from the stem like a Phaius. If i cut the stem and keep it in a humid seedlings box maybe could generate plantlets from teh nodes.

but I am not sure if it may bloom again from the same stem. But rather than watch it dry on the plant I could try to experiment with propagation.

so to cut or not to cut once the blooms are done?
thanks
