Hi Steve, in an newer classification bolleas get into pescatoreas, The plant look very simillar but I think Bolleas are great and are a special group.... but is not what i think.... Anyway I try with two pescatoreas but they are for other conditions... warmer....
My bolleas grown great in my outdoor conditions.... Y have 6 Bolleas, one with blue-lila color is allways with flowers.... is sooo beauty, I have the Bollea Hirtzii... is white with lila... sooo beautifulll and this new one... i´m waiting for the others....

This bollea grows in sustrat but in the top of the pot I put moss, it has many white roots that are searching for humidity.... |

Hirtzii is a great one. I'd love to try one, but it isn't readily available here in the US. 
My favorite bolleas are Coelestis, Lawrenceana, Violacea, and Pulvinaris. |
