Most of times we don't pay much attention to the small flowered orchids, but in fact they are the vast majority in the family. This is one of our terrestrials. The flowers are tiny, but with patience the plant grows to form a nice small specimen with several spikes!

Really cool. I love these pics you do with both the full plant and the closeup in the same pic.

Rosie, I believe that showing the context is important. It is easier to assess sizes if the close-up and the entire plant are both on the same context, don't you think?

yes I agree it's .. !I wish more people would 'get into the habit' of posting not only the bloom but the whole plant!
Mauro is an expert photographer & I wish I knew 'how' to stick two pics into one..
But just to say that I too love seeing (even separate photos) photo of both bloom & plant
thankyou Mauro, never heard of or seen this one

Yeah, I love the seperate pics of both plant and flowers as well. I try and always post both on mine... yes I've just checked and I did on the most recent one... phew!

But Mauro's combined pics look really artistic as well.

They remind me a bit of those old fashioned illistrations on orchid books where they drew different parts of the plant in the same pic.
