Default Polystachya vulcanica

We have two or three species representative of this genus in Brazil, all of them with tiny greenish flowers. The showy ones are from Africa, like this Zairian Polystachya vulcanica. The plant is small, leaves semi-terete and non-resupinate flowers.

Just Love those Polystachya's South Africa as a fair amount of species!! We also have a recently described species, Polystachya ngomense, allied to Polystachya pubescens
