Default Two Ludisia discolor

Here's two specimens of Ludisia discolor now in full bloom... I set them out for display since they're pretty durable to the heat, cold, and sun... also, a recent gift of Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite is next to them

...the other specimen of Ludisia discolor

...and the nice little gift of Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite (need to take them wussy dragonfly clips off!)

Wow, Pat! Gorgeous!!!
It's okay to give Ludisia that much sun? Mine is doing well but I leave it in a more shaded area. If more sun would help it to look like yours, I'll change things a bit

My Kryptonite bloomed over the past two days! First day, one bud opened and the next day, three more were bloomed! Beautiful!

The dragonfly clips are ridiculous... what an obnoxious plastic distraction from the blooms! They make me crazy! Anyhow those plants are excellent, especially the Phaiocalanthe. I am seeking a Phaius-type orchid, and that plant has such a delightul, delicate appearance; not to mention the color! I believe I shall try that one... it seems that it would make a very beautiful and unique porch plant. A wonderful gift indeed!
