Thunia alba blooming
It doesnt seem long since I showed this guy when I first got it with it just poking the cane through the medium well today the flowers have started opening up and although I dont think it is fully open I had to share it, I love it.

I am so glad you posted more pictures. The second one really shows the beauty of this flower.
I was told it needs a lot of light to bloom. Is that true?

Mine is under a metal halide and to the right so I guess it gets quite high light but not very high, I know it needs a cool dry winters rest to grow and flower the following year as it only flowers from newly grown canes. It certainly liked being near the metal halide as it has grown like a weed since we put it there.
