Bloomin_Aussie Spathoglottis plicata is an invasive weed in the Caribbean islands. According to the locals in the island of Dominica, they're everywhere on that island. I've only been shown a few colonies growing on the base of Trafalgar Falls (well known twin falls on the island of Dominica) when I was there. They were growing in between rocks in moist areas in shady locations. The temperature range was more along the intermediate side. Many of them had seed pods on them.
This should give you an idea as to if your plant will pull through for you. In short, my opinion is yes, your plant will make it.
