Default Terrestrials

Pictures are not much. I’m afraid. Hope you get the idea.

Agreed! Great blooms and foliage! But no, that's not a Corallorhiza. It's a Stenorrhynchos, if I'm not mistaken. Corallorhizas are saprophytes. Their leaves have been reduced to tiny bracts along the inflorescence.

There's a Stenorrynchus, a Sarcoglottis, a Stenosarcos (hybrid) and a Cyclopogon (very obscured). Like I said, it's not a good picture. Next time I post these, I'll have them separated and ID'ed clearly.

Ahhh! I didn't look very closely for others. I just saw the Steno and drooled over it!

I like the colors. It's a showy orchid.

Dave,

It is . . . and I hope I can. I will be gone almost all of March (in Panama, should be a few orchids there), so I don't know if I'll catch it in bloom. If I can either before or after my trip I will. If I miss it, I might have some old pics of it I could post (hope that's not cheating).

It's a fascinating green bloom.
