Default Cork Tube planted up

I rarely post my pics, because my photography skills leave a lot to be desired, but because these tubes are new I decided to post these.
I lightened the pictures because otherwise it is difficult to see the individual plants. The poles are really darker than the pictures show and the texture is beautiful.

This is my first try at mounting orchids. WOW!! I decided that a person needs 4 hands to do this.

The plants are;
1st, picture Tuberlabium quisumbingii, (center In bud) and Aerangis citra, (right side,in spike)
2nd picture, Aerangis mystacicii, Gastrochillus somai, Haraella odorata (tiny one on bottom, with buds).
3rd Picture is the same as #1 before I lightened it.

That looks really neat, and so natural!! Thanks for the pics! It's going to look awesome once the plants and roots colonize the entire thing. What do you do about getting light to all sides of the cork? Is it in the middle of a terrarium?

It is a 12" tube and it is 5" aacross. I have it sitting under a T5 unit in the middle of the shelf. The plants on the bottom of the tube don't get as much light as the upper ones. It is on a cart with a heavy plastic covering over it and it usually stays about 80% in there. If it runs lower than that I have a humidifier which I can put inside. I have 3 small fans which I run 24/7.

Thanks for your kind words. I was a bit uneasy mounting them.

Thanks to Ross for all his suggestions and help.

Time will tell if it happy where it is.

Marilyn

I like that Marilyn but where did you get the cork tubes?
That is going to look so cool when they are all grown and in bloom.
