Default Paradisanthus micranthus (Barb.Rodr.) Schltr.

This is a terrestrial that has its roots in the bed of foliage and detritus on the floor of the Southeast wet forests facing the Ocean Atlantic (Brazil). The flowers are small, but really cute and produced on an erect inflorescence. However, the plant is really difficult to keep in domestic cultivation.

The spikes:

Yes, I agree Wanda, those concentric stripes and the lip type give the flowers a little resemblance with Phal lueddemanniana.

the flowers look kinda like a phal, but the rest of the plant is not even close. it'd be nice to see a picture of the whole plant. it's more closely related to zygos. (it's also known as Zygopetalum micranthum)

Very nice, Mauro! Yes, the flowers remind me of something like a Promenaea crossed with a Phal. Very cool! Love the color and the barring.

Yes, it is in the Tribus Maxillarieae, Subtribus Zigopetalinae. The plant itself has small pseudo bulbs that in nature stay covered by the decaying matter and plicate, large leaves. My plant is not large yet, by it can be seen below in a last year's photo.

P. micranthus plant:
