I have Gongora Tricolor growing on cedar plank. I drunk the roots in 4 gallons water mix with the appropriate potion of orchid fertilizer (MSU brand) per manufacturer's instructions. I have mines hanging in partial shade on tresse. You want to keep it feed/watered during its growing season, which is Spring-Fall, to keep the pseudobulbs from wrinkling. Others will chime in that have been growing it longer than me, I've acquired mines this summer.
