Ludisia discolor
This is well known with its patterned leaves. Really hardy plant, it grows well no matter where it is. It is more like a weed than an orchid! The small white flowers are interesting with their twisted column. Also known as one of the so called 'jewel orchids'.

Yes, Ross, it is in its blood! The stem rolls and rolls! And considering that the stems can easily break, it is a problem to repot. But then, if you plant the pieces they become a new whole plant! I already gave pieces and pieces away and still have four or five pots! |

These jewels have incredible lighting leaf changes. The blooms are the cutiest. Cute it back and watch it produce over and over. Great  Mauro, can I get this affect from my throw-away camera  |

Beautiful photos! Sometimes I forget that the seasons are opposite below the equator. It's kind of neat to see your winter bloomers while it's HOT here.
