Wanna feel like a pollinator on its job?

Here's what pollinators probably see when entering the tube of an orchid... A phantasmagoric tunnel, all lines leading to the huge white structure (the gymnostemium) just ahead! If the pollinator completes its job it leaves carrying the pollinea on its back or else, deliver pollinea from another flower... A job that through the ages designed a whole universe inside this wonderful family of flowers!
Although the flower pictured here is Lc. Cuiseag 'Manka-En', a hybrid, it fits well to the purpose of showing the interior of the tube.
