Default Terrestials

Just wanted to share my terrestrials and try to initiate conversation for these lovely orchids, I also wonder the sizes of others plants, I believe mine are abit slower than others

I think yours are right on schedule. I am seeing a lot of action, will be another month or two for most. At my house, Pterostylis curta is the only one blooming (just started), always well ahead of the Europeans and Thelymitra, Diuris etc. Patience...

Amazing Roberta, i was abit worried as ive had some light issues. I added a sprinkle of mychorrhizae, worm castings, humic acid and more ive forgotten and it seems to work well.

I don't give them any special supplements, in the growing season they get the same weak fertilizer that everybody else gets. A little very dilute aluminum sulfate on the Thelymitras can improve the blue color (both the pH drop and aluminum ions are beneficial) but other than that, just water and dilute fertilizer until after they bloom, then nothing at all until next October or so.
