Only been 6 of these plants in the history of the AOS has been awarded. There is a good chance that one with a decent flowering well grown plant just might have an award waiting for you

How does your stack up?

Mine has 22 buds and 5 flowers open with 5 spikes working today. 6 new growths and 13 bulbs total.

This was awarded CCM in 2022. Twenty-four flowers and seven buds on seven inflorescences and two buds on a developing inflorescence

Do you think it might be awarded higher if judged this year? If so, and if the flowers last long enough, our show I the first weekend in April in Lake Charles.

I thought these guys were summer bloomers, no?
I haven't bought one because I stick to fall to spring bloomers but if they can bloom in March I guess that changes things, doesn't it?
