Kicking off hardy Calanthe season

First plant of the season to come into bloom is Calanthe sieboldii; great lemony yellow blooms and a nice sweet fragrance in the afternoon. This plant usually blooms a month or more [I grow in the greenhouse; outside, less I'd bet] and fills a pot relatively quickly for a nice display.
A couple of upcoming orchid shows here in the PNW, so time to trim last season's foliage and tidy things up a bit
