These plants (link below) are part of a group my local nursery had about 2 weeks ago.
I have tentatively id as 'laelia speciosa' Plant was in bud when I purchased for 40 pesos (about $3.80).
Noid 1 pictures, the plant with the long spike (thats enc fragrans above in basket and should be blooming within a week).
I've tentatively id this one as enc candollei...so many similar so not really sure. Spike is close to 30 inches and the pb's are almost perfectly round.
Noid 2 pictures have me stumped. The plants look the same, however, the one on left looks like it is going to open as a white flower and the other appears to be yellow, spotted brown. Neither is in a hurry to open their flowers. I don't see any progress in the last 10 days.

Noid 3 pics could be some kind of onc. Spikes are again
about 25-30 inches. Pictures of the buds are not so hot.

Anyone want to hazard a guess on any of them?

I don't know if the first is a laelia speciosa (looks pretty darn close .. might be a hybrid), but it is surely impressive
Nice NOIDs

Default Update

I've posted more pictures to the album on mystery.

NOID 2....I've settled on brassia signata or perhaps a hybred. Common to Mexico.

NOID 3....Oncidium sphacelatum, I think.

Any comment appreciated (especially if I'm wrong).

Definitely not Brassia signata, perhaps an Odontoglossum species instead...
