Phaius Dan Rosenberg 'Tropical Ice' HCC/AOS

Phaius Dan Rosenberg 'Tropical Ice' HCC/AOS has been in bloom for a while. This picture was taken in the early stages. This has become one of my favorite orchids as it takes no special care compared to any other houseplant and, out of bloom, the leaves are attractive (like a peace lily upgrade). It has multiple spikes at different stages so it will be in bloom for a while.

Beautiful! How much light do you give it summer/winter? Does this ever need a drier rest?

I gave it shade and watered the same. In the article where I first saw a Phaius, the woman was growing the Phaius with other common house plants that do not need a sunny window and she treated it just like the other plants. She said it faithfully bloomed every year. I went with that.

I bought this one from Hausermann's in spike last year.

I imagine they grow outside for you.
I have room for just one but I am hoping it will become a monster.
