i love this one- i have killed 3 seedlings and i REALLY want to try again but i dont think i can get it dialed in outdoors and i am out of indoor space

That's strange. Should grow as weed at your place, shouldn't it? Tº and humidity should be optimum? At least as I assume your weather could look like ...

Photos don't do these justice... in the sun they glisten like the veins are sprinkled with gold dust! Alas, mine is no more... about 2 years, then lost it.

I think it had more to do with them being seedlings. They are already sensitive to getting dry and I think it was the wrong time of year. Etc. my fault. I guess I should try again with a bigger plant

This plant doesn't seem like it grows in bogs in the wild. It looks like a very adaptable orchid! I can say that it appears to grow as a terrestrial in leaf litter, moss laden trees (low to the ground), and on moist rocks in the wild!
