Yeah just keep them on the dry side while they are in dormancy. Another trick with growing them is to put a layer of "mulch" on the surface of the potting medium such as fine gravel (aquarium gravel or other). This prevents soil plashing unto the leaves when watering and prevents the leaves getting any kind of rot. Hope you have you good success with growing them.
