Habenaria medusa
Just starting to get going. I cross pollinated the flower facing the camera with a pollinia from Pecteilis radiata. Hopefully it takes!

I totally love the species... it's one that I just can't stop taking pictures of. DC, I suspect that you could grow it fine. It needs to be drier in winter when dormant but not bone-dry, it likes warmth. (Generally the things that I have to grow in the GH do nicely outside in Florida)

And if this cross with Pecteilis radiata works, will it be a Medusa Phoenix?
