Invasive Chinese Ground Orchid in Florida: Eulophia graminea Male
Default Invasive Chinese Ground Orchid in Florida: Eulophia graminea

I have found that misterious plant wuth a huge green bulb growing in my back yard. At first it looked like a tuberose with a foot high vertical spike that grew tiny orchids. Doing my research I have found it is called Eulophia graminea or Chinese ground orchid. it is an invasive species first seen in Miami, now spreding up north (i live in Hillsborough co.) Following the advice of eliminate it, even being an orchid lover, I carefully dug up all the bulbs which were plenty and put it in the trash sealing the bag after. Thank God the flowers were young enough and didn't produce any seeds.
I can't add the links to the articles
