Default Nervilia punctata: Sprouting Early

I dont know why, but my Nervilia punctata has decided to sprout 3 months earlier than I expected.

It's right in the middle of the image.

It's very tall, should've taken a pic with a ruler.
Anyway, I found this cool trick where you can see the contents of the sprout by holding a flashlight behind it, sorta like an x-ray. From the "x-ray" below you can see there is a leaf inside.

It's much clearer in real life.
