Slc. Ginny Champion 'Prince'
The little plant is about 10 cm tall and its bright orange bloom is 6 cm wide but odorless.

No wonder why it's a compact and attractive orchid - it's parents are
Cattleya Baby Kay = (bicolor x luteola)
X
Sophrolaelia Psyche = (Soph. coccinea x Laelia cinnabarina)
All the grandparents are species Cattleya, Sophronitis and Laelia
Gorgeous!

Thanks for the kind words.
This plant was imported from H&R orchids, and to my surprise, it is an old hybrid and was registered in 1974.

One of my favorites! [As you can probably tell from my avatar.
] I knew it was an old hybrid but didn't realize it was THAT old. LOL
