to talk about Miniature Orchids at the North Jersey Orchid Society meeting Thursday Nov 10 2016

Shan and Tom got their first greenhouse in 1979 and began their business in 1980 first Clemson Orchids then as Carolina Orchids. Tom, whose specialty is bulbophyllums and angraecums, gives presentations to many societies. Shan gives a talk about her 2006 trip to Ecuador which shows orchids in their natural habitats. Tom and Shan will have plants for sale at the meeting

He and Shan were our mtg.(DCOS) Tues. He's a hoot,gave a great talk with slides and selling wonderful plants. Hope they're able to return to our mtgs for many yrs to come.

Wish I had the time to go out there tonight, instead I have to proctor an exam. Regardless I would not have the time to go to New Jersey.
