Haraella retrocalla G-5761A (Keiki)
This is about 1 of 3 keiki from Haraella retrocalla G-5761. I remove the keiki from the mother plant on 3/20/16 to its own stick and inside a sealed container. Today (03/26/16) I inspected it and it looks fine. I used 3 strands of sphagnum moss of about 9 inches long each and wrapped them consecutively around the stick while holding the keiki and at the end I used a rubber band to keep the sphagnum strand from uncoiling from the stick. I did not want to use any cotton or nylon string because of its apearance and difficulty to remove later. Once the keiki attaches to the stick I will remove the rubber band.

Nice job. I never thought of wrapping sphagnum that way. I bet it creates a lot more airspace.
