This is my 2nd Haraella retrocalla (G-5761) in her tropical-condo. Pic #1 inside her tropical-condo in need of clean-up. Algae at the bottom.***Pic #2 outside for a photo session, full of moss.***Pic #3 she has 3 seed pods and 2 keikis.***Pic #4 G-5761 & G-5762 in their corresponding tropical-condos all cleaned up.***Pic #5 this flower fell off about a week ago yet it is still in good shape. I guess it is due to the controlled environment in the jar.***Pic #6 is an illustration of how I mount the Haraellas. Thank you for looking and any suggestions are welcome. Guido

What kind of wood are you using? I have received some plants mounted on what appears to be crepe myrtle or guava wood, and they grow fungus quickly if left to soak even overnight.

Fungus is very opportunistic. Right amount of temperature & humidity and off they go. It does not matter what kind of wood you are using. I guess that is mother nature at work. I took care of it as follow: a)Removed plant from stick very carefully. b) scrubbed the stick very well. c)I totally submerged the stick in a solution of 2 part clorax 8 parts water for 24 hrs. d)I boiled the stick for 15 minutes. e)Done. I never saw 1 speck of fungus again. My fungus were white and super hardy. Even after using fungicide they returned but the above procedure send them packing

Nice mount. I like your moss growth.
