We're battling mites. If there were only a spike or two, I'd sacrifice them but I've got over a dozen! Washing the leaves with the cinnamon concoction with a itty bitty paint brush.

I saw what looked like a white gemmata in Andy's exhibit display, but it wasn't labeled. I was going to skip Andy's entirely but I wanted the name of that white Schoenorchis. It was paniculata. He didn't bring any but he brought the micrantha. This was smaller which made it more desirable for me.

So, I walked away with the micrantha, finished with Andy's for the day. Or so I thought.

I'm not seeing any new damage but will remain vigilant.

Cinnamon only works on fungus, I thought? You probably can use something that is a miticide to kill the mites. Mites like it dry and warm.

I have been watching missorchidgirl on youtube lately with her trials using hairspray to get rid of mites. It seems to be working for her. Maybe this would be good on your mini, as it would get into all the tiny nooks and crannys???
