They are Lepanthes telipogoniflora, Pleurothallis niveoglobula and Epidendrum porpax.

Waiting for more plants to flower so I can play with this. I've got a spike on Aerangis citrata going, but as my cat ate the last two spikes before flowering, I'm not too confident about that...

Got a pair of new shots of E. porpax and a Dendrobium Berry Oda from my orchid wall.
Also managed to get decent cutouts from L. telipogoniflora and P. niveoglobula.

Your noobiness is always welcome and the shots are well done! I have neither a camera or such minis and enjoy whatever the shutterbugs can show me! TY

Nice work!! Great captures. My number 1 difficulty with macro shots is sufficient lighting. Otherwise the camera picks up all these random vibrations that my lab produces = blurry closeups.

Yeah, it's not that easy to get proper closeups. I'm shooting with two 1400 lumen lights as base lighting (the tanks normal lights, but moved into best position for the shot), as I don't have an external flash to this camera (yet).
Also, depth of field is a bit wonky, especially with the +10 lens, but I'm getting there slowly.

I've got my Aerangis citrata in bloom right now, so there'll be a few macros of that coming soon.

Wow that close up of the telipogoniflora is amazing! Orange petals and a magenta column and scarlet lip. Fantastic work! I say you submit to AOS website photo of the year!!

Thank you!
I'll see if I might do that.

Now, for some new shots:
A group pic of the Lepanthes and the Epidendrum, and then a new contestant: Aerangis citrata.
Or at least, it's bought as such. It's a bit disappointing, despite its five flowering spikes, because if it smells like lemons, I can't detect it.
Still, the plant is thriving, and that's the important bit.
