Shannon, I left my orchids for three days, worried about them too, but any of them that really had to stay moist I set them into vases with wet, wet moss in the bottom. I covered the vase top with a baggie, left loose around the vase so a little air was allowed. They were all fine when I returned home.

This one has rocks in the tiny vase and I added enough water to allow the stick to wick up water to the plant. I was most concerned about this little guy at the time. He was fine.

Here is a pic of his tiny house. I have to be very careful when moving the plant so I don't damage the spike or blooms. This is from today, still has 9 blooms and looks so cute. You should get one.

The blooms are hard to photograph but here they are today, out of the vase.

Sorry I misted this. But thanks Pattywack, that is a great set up. I did put my small orchids that I was afraid would get to dry in plastic bags and all came out great.

I really do need to get that plant it is just to cute.
