I ordered this little guy (
Dendrobium oligophyllum) a couple of weeks ago from a favorite seller and when it arrived it had the tiniest bud formed. I just figured it would blast and drop, so I really didn't pay much attention to it, just set it in my fogger tank and actually kind of forgot it.
Well, I was rooting around in the tank today (actually trying to find room for a new
Aerangis fastuosum with a bloom spike that had just arrived...I am
SO addicted.) and saw that tiny Dendrobium bud had developed and opened into a tiny little bloom - only 1 bloom on a very short cane this bloom cycle, but I couldn't be happier if it were 100 - Well, maybe I would be a
little bit happier....
