I was wondering about that too! I looked at the dendrobium and the word taylorii, and thought, this looks a lot like my cadetia taylorii, and maybe the same botanist who found one found the other etc. Then I remembered the other day I had read that cadetia was or had been in the dendrobium family. Oh well.

I really need to get some restrepias. My qualification is that I have to get low shade plants only. I really love how these little plants are so serious about looking like bugs!

I grow my Restrepia in the high end of Phal light and it seems to be quite happy. So it will probably work for you too. Tho' the blooms open one at a time and each lasts about 5-7 days, it has been in almost continual bloom since I got it in January. I have found that if allowed to dry out, Restrepia's aren't happy and will drop their flowers and buds. I liked this one so much I bought, Restrepia trichoglossa (yellow with red dots), but it hasn't bloomed yet, but is growing new leaves.

Interesting thing about Restepias is that they can be propagated from a single leaf. My iris is already creating a plantlet at one leaf node. I expect that I will just attach the plantlet to the same mount without detaching it from the mother plant.

And yes, Cadetia taylorii is now classified as a Den. Don't you just love all the taxonomy changes?
