Here are 2 new purchases in bloom. Restrepia iris and Den. taylorii. For each of them, it was love at first sight!
I bought the Restrepia at the North Jersey Orchid how in January and this bloom had opened since. The Den. taylorii, I bought last night at the NJOS meeting.
The Restrepia picture doesn't show the color very well. The light color is a yellow-green. The Den. taylorii is pure crystalline white.
Each of the plants is small (about 3" in height) and the flowers are about 1-2 cm. The Restrepia is mounted and the Den. is potted in a clay pot with tree fern.
