Both displays look amazing! Nice blooms. The fairies disappear when they see a camera.

many thanks Ron, actually all my mini babies are making me happy at this time, astrophoras are nearly all spiking, haraella's are in spike and bloom for past 2 months, Bulbo rosary beads is spiking with many spikes for last 2 weeks and newly added masdevallia erinacea that I mounted last week showed me 3 spikes today, can't be happier! :-)

Default Great set up

Great set up TommiMiami

Where did you find the glass orb? Put a mini red in there and it would be cool Christmas decoration.

Sharry, CB2 - Modern Furniture and Home Decor sells them, and many other cool glass things, in great price. If you have store close to you, go there, if no, online order. I have many, in 3 different shapes and sizes:-) I did actually last year Xmas giving with these glass orbs with succulents, sand, stones, shells and moss inside, and everyone was on the cloud 9! This year I am planning to give few with the miniatures like Lepanthopsis that seems to love it in this set up!

Thanks for the tip. With the open side they look to better ventilated (and easier to plant!) than some other glass orbs that I've seen.

Yes, and this one has even 2 smaller holes on the top on each side, so the air movement is definitely better with this one!
