Mini miniatures - where to get them?

Hello everyone
just wondering if someone would know where (and if) it is possible to get some of the mini mini orchids. I did some Google and found these awesome species:
Platystele jungermannioides
bulbophyllum minutissimum
bulbophyllum globuliforme
all extremely cute and interesting and would be great on my Hygrolon but I could just not find any online for sale???

Found one, it seems like Bulbophyllum moniliforme is actually Bulbophyllum minutissimum, so Andy's has it:-)

The best Bulbophyllum grower in Florida is Bill Thoms. He's up around Tampa somewhere. He doesn't have a web-site that I know of so you'll need to do some research to find a way to contact him. He's won many, many awards for his Bulbos. Marble Branch Farms sells miniture orchids but I've only seen one Bulbophyllum on their web-site.

If you look at mini-cattleyas, be sure they're temperature tolerant orchids. Many mini-catts have species from cool climates in their background and they don't grow well in South Florida.

Thanks Tucker, I will try. I found actually that Bulbo at Andy's, so that one is done, but I would love to get one of the Platystele jungermannioides, it used to be considered as the smallest orchid on the world till someone found smaller in Ecuador, it is from Panama, hot grower and grows like weeds also, but no luck finding it online so far:-) I'll check Bill Thoms info somehow. And I did read about your mini cats from up north, so I already know:-) I did get Cattleya luteola from Seattle orchids recently and I must say it did acclimatize pretty good, within 3 weeks it is growing many new roots to the new mount so happy with that one:-)

You might check Ecuagenera. They are up for shows in the US quite often.

Thanks Ron, they were among the first to check, I have some plants on the way with them for next month's Miami show, but no luck, they do not have this one:-)

Online hit Andy's Orchids ... But word of warning: make sure to have a loved one hide your wallet and put a plastic cover over your keyboard as "drool" protection. I think Andy usually attends the Redlands show in Florida.

Thanks Paul, and too late, i buy from Andy's, Tropical Orchid Farms, Seattle orchids, Ecuagenera, Kawamoto and some other on regular bases,and these are always the first one for me to check. None of them has this little guys. But talking about it, my package from TOF is arriving tomorrow, I just could not resist their annual sale!:-)

For miniatures...check out J&L Orchids. I don't know if they have those particular species but they definitely have an enormous variety of minis. I've purchased from them quite a bit over the years and I'm always pleased w/the qualty.

Many thanks Katrina, I know this page as well:-) They have really great selection, but at this time I really need and want only Platystele jungermannioides, and than bulbophyllum minutissimum that I found already on Andy's website. It seems like Platystele is very hard/or impossible to find online for purchase right now. I did email many sellers I usually buy, none has it:-)

J&L has actually 3 Platystele species, but they are kinda regular small size, I am really looking now for mini miniatures, micro orchids I think that's how they call them, and Platystele jungermannioides used to be considered as the smallest orchid iin the world till recent found of another smaller one in Ecuador:-)

If I were you, I would call some of the vendors of smaller orchids and ask them if they know where you could find it. I find actually speaking with vendors, more effective then emails when it comes to more difficult to obtain plants. That's how I found a few of my "must haves", I talked to vendors who eventually gave me leads to the plants I was looking for.
