Default Den. cuthbersonii x Dend. goldschmidtianum 'Lafayette'

Oh I've waited for what seems like forever for this one to open up. It's seems like months since I first seen the buds. I do think this one is worth it. You can see there is another flower just starting to open up a little.

Julie, that's wonderful!
I'm so jealous of anybody able to grow Den. cuthbersonii as it's a favorite of mine and calls for temps that I can't provide

Great growing!

What an interesting cross, I had no idea they were doing things like that now.

Congratulations on getting it to bloom. Love the colour.

Just beautiful, Julie! What a great cross! I've not seen it available over here - but I will keep looking as I, too, think it is definitely worth it!

Thanks every one, the second bud will be open soon. I got this one from an ebay vendor and I really don't remember who but I really think the pictures on ebay didn't do it justice. It really was worth the wait.

This and your den. lanyaiae come at the perfect time for Halloween with it's pumpkin orange coloration. Such delicate autumnal blooms

Julie, what is the size of this plant? Is it small like the cuthbertsonii?
