Can somebody tell me the differences between this and Gastrochilus japonica? We just awarded one two days ago, and it looks almost identical to this photo. Are they synonyms?

No they aren't synonyms. And correctly they are spelled dasypogon and japonicus. I have some literature about Gastrochilus. I can scan some pages for you, if you want.

@tuvoc they are really easy in culture.
