That cluster is beautiful!

I really love this species. Mine isn't ready to bloom yet either but it's putting out new roots like crazy and is looking very good!

I am expecting more of the orange hue when it finally does decide to just do it but I sure wouldn't mind if the blooms were more reddish.

Do you keep yours in cool or warm conditions. I don't know why mine wont grow?

I keep mine on the middle shelf of my plant rack. The temp. runs about 75 and the humidity runs 50%+. They must be considered intermediate or I wouldn't have put it there.

Good color! There has been a number of new crosses using it, resulting in an exciting breeding line for red mini plants. I recently saw it crossed with Sophronitis coccinea and the plant very short, the flowers were brilliant red and the stem multiflowered.

Thanks everyone for all nice comments. I realy do love the red color of this plant.

Tindomul1of9, I have mine in my wardian case, 20-26 degree Centigrade. I have one plant that will not start a new growth. This bulb that flowers had started to grow when I bougt it.

Rosim_in_BR, A cross with coccinea and multiflower, bright read. . That one I want to see/have
