Trichosalpinx chamaelepanthes
This one (from Colombia)bloomed quite young, a seedling really.
The same species occurs in Ecuador etc.but it has pure white flowers.
Enjoy!

Beautiful. My white one is has been blooming for about three weeks now. The plants grow out of control.

Hi;
I grow a relatively small collection under lights (by the window),keep temps cool,and provide humidity with an ultrasonic humidifier.
I grow mostly miniatures ,with some exceptions.
I'm in Whitestone,you are welcome to visit.

Hi,
I do the same thing. Next to a window in a room with no heater. I also use ultrasonic humidifiers. It really does work. However I used natural light, lots and lots of sun in the winter time.

The color is beautiful and the flower and leaves are uniquely interesting. Thanks for sharing.
