Yes, when it's too cold (10C - 05C day tem.) I don't water any of my orchids.Twice last year we had snow here in Athens.Some orchids was under a plastic cover,other as this one here, was without any protection.It loves full sun in winter.


I don't suggest anything to anyone,I just share my personal experience. The climate of Greece is a key factor and nobody can say this is a rule for growing this species e.t.c. as the climate is so different between U.S.A. France,Greece or any other country.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, including the update and giving us your tips. I bought one last month and I absolutely adore it! It is so small and cute! I don't have blooms so I really loved seeing the pictures of yours.

Pictures like that keep me motivated. I have moved mine to a cooler terrarium, and am gradually reducing water. Thanks for the tips.

I just saw this orchid on ebay sunday. I want it sooo bad. Its so tiny and cute, and the colors are beautiful.
