Lovely flower and shots.

Curious what you used for the black background?

This plant is not an easy one to get to work. Lots of patience.
Good to know! I purchased two LC Jungle Eyes seedlings in January at a local show. So far they appear to be happy. I moved them to a wood mount and roots are attaching. They are outside under 50% shade cloth and getting lots of humidity and bright light. One has already sent up a new lead. I know, I know. Patience!!!

C Peckhaviensis is another of my favorites. Mine is still quite small. My C Quinquecolor is a good bloomer, flowering once or twice a year. Spotted bifoliate catts are my weakness, aclandiae being my alltime favorite. I have just a small growing area and look for the compact and mini growers. I find that they do best for me mounted. I recently acquired C Lulu Land and C Little World, both too young to bloom. Here's to patience!!! LOL Happy growing!

..

the black background (in most of the pics) by the way is a piece of what they call 'theatre blackout' cloth. They use for events to cover up seats that are empty and don't want you know they are empty Zero light reflectivity and zero light gets thru it...totally black out. If its not cloth using the flash set at around -1 compensation then get far enough back from the flash that you don't get artifacts or reflections off glass shiny doors etc etc will give you a nice black background with no cloth.

They left behind a few whole rolls of the cloth and I have enough to cover a small island like Cristo
